2007 Incentive Program Eligibility Rules

1. These raffles are governed by and shall be run consistently with the PA Small Games of Chance Act,

December 10, 1988. Any representations in violation thereof are strictly forbidden.

2. There will be five total winners. The grand prize will be one new automobile, selected by the winner from the participating dealerships. The winner of the grand prize has the option of selecting a new automobile from one of our sponsored dealers valued at $15,000 or less; or apply $15,000 to a purchase of an automobile from one of our sponsored dealers. Second prize is a SONY 46” Bravia S ® Series HDTV. Third prize is a deluxe gas grill from Dominion. The Step-Up Raffles will consist of the fourth and fifth prizes. Fourth Prize is a set of tickets and parking to the December 16, 2007, Pittsburgh Steelers game against Jacksonville Jaguars. Fifth prize will be a selection of gift certificates valued at $400 from many local eateries.

3. Any person who contributes at least $3 per week ($156 per year) to United Way of Westmoreland County (UWWC) or through UWWC to one of its partner agencies for the Fall 2007 Campaign and who is not ineligible under the Act or these rules will be eligible.

4. Any person who contributes a new gift of at least $1 per week ($52 per year) or increases their previous gift by that amount will be eligible for the Step-Up Raffle.

5. Contributions directed solely to the Community Impact Fund will receive two chances to win.

6. To verify the donation and participation in the raffles, a campaign pledge form must be completed, including a person’s name, address, telephone number, and amount of contribution. Entries must be returned to UWWC by 5:00 p.m. on November 30, 2007, for the final Incentive Program Raffle. If chosen, UWWC will again verify pledge information. If the pledge is via payroll deduction, employment and continued payroll deduction participation will also be confirmed. Step-Up deadline dates are 5:00 p.m. on October 26 and November 16.

7. Members of the staff, Board of Directors of UWWC, and their immediate family members are not eligible. Immediate family members include spouses, parents and children.

8. Winners are required to provide proper photo identification and verification upon presentation of prizes.

9. By entering their name, each winner agrees that UWWC may use their name and/or photograph for publicity purposes upon presentation of prizes.

10. No cash equivalent will be provided in lieu of the prizes.

11. Winners will be required to pay any title transfer costs and other applicable taxes relating to transactions including but not limited to federal and state income taxes.

12. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

13. Participation in this raffle may affect the tax deductibility of your gift; however, since we estimate the value of each donor’s opportunity to be $3.07, it is our belief that the value is de minimis and therefore should not require any deduction in an individual’s gift to UWWC.
