OUR IMPACT AREAS
By supporting United Way’s Impact Fund, you help deliver critical assistance and change the lives of our most vulnerable neighbors by meeting basic needs, moving toward financial stability and building success in school and life.
Connecting people at times of crisis with immediate, essential human needs such as shelter, safety and food.
Helping working families and individuals overcome short-term instability and create a path to a more financially secure future.
Addressing disparities in educational opportunities from early childhood through school years and helping young people become successful adults.
Introducing Women United, the new name for our Women’s Leadership Council. At our April 10 Celebrate to Elevate event, we announced the new name to nearly 400 attendees. Why the change? To broaden the tent to women at every stage in their career and life journey and across all dimensions of diversity, and to connect more closely to the work of United Way. Women United brings women together as a powerful philanthropic collective whose ability to leverage our vision, brilliance and passion to create impact is unmatched. Our members understand the critical factors preventing women and families from achieving their dreams and that these issues disproportionately impact women and, in particular, women of color. Shared commitment and conviction are the bedrock of this strong social network, where women support our community and elevate one another. Women who are connected, empowered and inspired, are unbreakable and unbeatable. We welcome you to join Women United.
