Grants
Foundation and government grants, as
well as, trusts provide critical resources
for United Way of Westmoreland County
to generate new and innovative research
and programs.
Through the generosity of
businesses and foundations around the community, the United Way of Westmoreland
County (UWWC) is able to help fund various programs that help community members
of all ages.
Over the past five
years, UWWC has received almost $4 million in grants, funding youth programs
such as School Readiness and Imagination Library as well as Faith in Action,
a program that assists seniors across our region. These funds help us leverage innovation and improve the
system of support for families in addition to the donations to the annual
campaigns made by individuals, agencies and corporate partners. UWWC would like
to thank the gracious individual donors and institutions who have helped us
help others.
