2-1-1 is a free 3-digit phone number that connects people with community, health and disaster services. The 2-1-1 call center, text and chat services are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Dialing 2-1-1 connects people in need with an information and referral specialist who can help. This specialist assesses needs and connects the caller to a human service program.
